Breaking Free: Liberation through Interfaith Dialogue (Spirituality and Practice)

Interfaith Dialogue Online Course

Source: Spirituality and Practice

In this exclusive e-course developed for Spirituality & Practice, the Imam, the Rabbi, and the Pastor, who have become known as the Interfaith Amigos, look at the specific issues we face in a pluralistic society and the spiritual practices that can help us transcend those roadblocks to effective collaboration on the critical issues of our time.

The e-course focuses on these themes:

Sessions 1 – 3: Spiritual Practices in General and Why We Need Them

Sessions 4 – 6: The Five Stages of Interfaith Dialogue

Sessions 7 – 9: The Major Ways Our Traditions Stray

Sessions 10 – 12: Beyond Polarization: Confronting Our Major Obstacle

You will receive:

• Emails in which the Interfaith Amigos will alternate sharing teachings from each of their traditions along with specific spiritual practices designed to support the inner dimensions of those teachings.

• Access to a recording of a one-hour teleconference with the Interfaith Amigos on the blessings and challenges of interfaith dialogue.

This is a rare opportunity to learn from three distinguished spiritual teachers from the three Abrahamic faiths. As the Interfaith Amigos share their traditions, practices, and experiences with you, you will be invited to reflect upon your own experiences and possibilities for engagement on the liberating interfaith path.

(4 CEHs for Chaplains available.)
