In the midst of this, the ecstatic expressions of Zechariah, Mary and Elizabeth – not to mention an angel – shake the boots off us and send us running for cover. How do we make these stories matter for people who take time to show up at church? What’s the difference between preaching and just words? How do we use poetry as a tool for change?
