Parish Workers, Pastoral Ministers or Pastors of Visitation are responsible for representing the church or parish in home or health institution visitations. They make calls to new or potential members, and other contacts involving care and support. They have a primary ministry that involves visiting with different people who are related to the church by going to their homes, prisons, retirement centers, hospitals, etc. They often primarily visit with members of their own religious community, but can visit with non-members as well.
